Debra LaCoppola and Charles Meier—the creative power couple behind Photoduo—first crossed paths at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, where they honed their craft and became masters of storytelling through visuals. After years of working in the hustle and bustle of New York, they packed up their creativity and headed to the sunnier shores of the West Coast, where they’ve continued to make waves with their unique blend of artistry and technical know-how.
Now, they bring their East Coast grit and West Coast flair to every project, creating stunning videos that blend precision with personality.

Whether we’re filming outdoors, at a healthcare facility, in an office, or right in your living room, every detail has been thoughtfully mapped out during pre-production. Debra and Charles arrive with a solid game plan, a sharp eye, and just the right energy to keep things both focused and fun. Charles grew up in a garage full of wires and gadgets, building early computers with his dad and working at his grandfather’s Esso station on the Jersey shore. That’s where he picked up a few things—patience, problem-solving, and an all-consuming love for anything electrical or mechanical. Though he’s a master of tech, Charles is also a visual artist at heart. His technical wizardry and post-production magic are what keep Photoduo’s projects running smoothly. “There’s nothing better than telling a story through film,” he says, blending his love of storytelling with his passion for making things tick.
